Market Hall - Pavilion

read some good review about this place hence finally giving it a try. And i Love it. In my must have list will be their Tagliatelle - because the pasta is freshly made on the spot by chef , its bouncy and chewy. You never want to go back to packet pasta again after tasting this version. the crew is friendly. although there are 2 female that is new and do not understand english very well, but you cannot get angry with them as they just keep on smiling and ask if you need anything. they have mon-fri 12-3pm 3 course set lunch which cost RM24.90. i say is a good deal. I wanted to try their tagliatelle RM32.90 hence i op for their all day set menu at RM39.90 and my, it was a fabulous deal. view below for the food i had for Rm39.90++

first up complimentary - bread stick with salsa sauce. perfect. the bread is bake to perfection. puffy and easy to bite. salsa sauce is just nice.
then came the starter - signature caesar salad. looks simple, yet taste delicous. with bacon and chunk of chicken plus the poached egg is done perfectly.next is the highlight - taglietelle (freshly made pasta with salmon tossed in vodka, citrus zest and mascarpone cream sauce) . again, what made this dish so special is the texture of their pasta.lastly, creme catalana for dessert. rich rich rich and yummy.on a second occasion i went back to have this starter: seared scallops served iwth cauliflower puree,tapenade and chrispy bacon chips. and finally i get the change to taste this chilli and green peas stuffed chicken breast on garlic mashed potato and srping onion pesto with sauteed wild mushroom and onions. the chicken breast is tender, and i love the mushroom and potato. they compliemnt the dish so well. the onions too. mush have!

Pan Ki Dim Sum @ Sri Petaling

Overall i felt DIm Sum at Pan ki is ok. I do like the Gai wo Bao here(First Pic) though the original for this Dim Sum is said to be Clan Dim Sum 5 min away. the bun texture is soft. Char Siew bao is not bad i like that they put a little veggie stip inside. Carrot cake is a must try as well. and sesame ball.

Coffee in Love Cafe - Sri Hartamas

the set up is interesting enough to attract we for a visit. however they were not open when i got there. though they should be base on their operation hour. did not get a chance to try their coffee and cup cakes. but did get a chance to snap a pic. why only 1 picture? cos i had to run, this cafe is surrounded by bushes and plant that a tree snake was right beside me when i took this picture. for more info visit this blog:

Paradise Inn Sunway Pyramid

singapore group opening in Sunway Pyramid . Do try the fried rice with sausage(This dish wil be in my must have list). its really cook to perfection. soup is also nice. other foodbelow is equally good.

Su's Cake for Kicks - Fahrenheit 88 KL

started from selling cakes online to having their own retail. i bought their famous from left to right : Durian Cheese cake , Lychee Cheese Cake and Cempedak cheese cake. i Give 10/10 for fragrant and creativity. But its all just too sweet for me. So go ahead if you have a sweet tooth. i tried their curry puff ( which fillings is nice but pastry is oily) and Layer cake ( too sweet) . i do however like their boxing.

Arthurs Mille Crepe Pavilion Tokyo Street

the fact that i have tried Nadeje Crepe in Melaka before made Arthur's Mille Crepe absolutely bland. I am only commenting 2 flavour which i have tried from Arthurs. Original- did not taste fresh to me. Matcha Latte- No Matcha or latte taste. I hope they improve .
