My Kopitiam - Taipan USJ

its been awhile since i've been to My Kopitiam. decided to have lunch with john y and alex there yesterday. they have quite a good variety of food and price was reasonable. john highly recommend nasi lemak with sotong or petai. their curry chicken with toast or bun also taste good. cendol however was disappointing. give it a try guys!

FIsh Gusto-USJ Taipan

i think this restaurant has been around for the pass 3 months. its definitely not crowded. i had doubt stepping in wondering if the food is going to be nice. but we decided to give it a try anyway.alex ordered butter fish cajun at RM20.90. fish was fresh. nice butter rice. i ordered fish and chips at RM13.90. quite good too! with lots of chips. if you are worry its not filling, ouc an order extra butter rice at RM 2.50. its a big portion.

below is yellow devil . overall food was good. price are really affordable especially for the beverage and dessert. you can get mushroom soup at RM4.50 but it depends on the fisherman's mood. hehe........soup of the day that is. you can get ice cream with pan cake at RM4.50 only.

a new kopitiam opened in jaya33. there are some variety of food in the menu. go for those with a little "o" beside , it means its recommended by The Bald Man Standing. alex went for the nasi lemak with beef rendang and it was good. i ordered lam mee but this is definately not what i've expected. this looks more lile mee hon soup. and at RM8.50, not my favourite choice.

Fushou Lou nyonya curry mee & Taipan nyonya kuih USJ2

Today i went to Kedai Makanan and Minuman USJ 2 again. . Here you can find nyonya curry mee. and its really good. imagine curry with lots of lime. Thats how it taste. This curry mee comes with pari fish. at RM5 per pack. Or you can op for their sea food mee which cost Rm10 and above. Do go there early, normally all items will be sold out by latest 1 or 2 pm.and if you happen to be there, dont forget to buy some nyonya kueh.

Klang Qian Li Xiang Bak Kut Teh in Subang

A new Klang Bak Kut Teh Restaurant has made is debut in Subang. At the new shop lots opposite Giant USJ1 . You cant missed it. Actually 90% of these shop lots are no occupied. So far there is Ambank, Secret recipe, Dunlop Mattress....etc Anyone of you know where is QIan Li Xiang in klang?anyway, this shop just open for business on 10 April and we decided to give it a try today. business was quite good. during lunch hour you see people coming in every 5 minutes. this picture below was taken about 12.15pm.We ordered both the soup RM9 and dry RM8 BAk Kut teh. i really enjoy the dry one. mainly it tasted just nice and not too spicy. marinated with dried chili, dry cuttle fish and ladies fingers.

Mushroom and pig intestine for RM3.50 each. Yow char guai for RM1. Rice,RM2 for 3 bowl.

Total bill is only RM27......cheap right? they also serve abalone slice ,fish and veg.

USJ hawker food and pocket size projector

Try this yummy chee cheong fun in KEdai Makanan dan minuman USJ 2. if i am not mistaken the chef name is frankie . i purposely give it a try today as there was a write up about this store in star paper couple of months ago. and in deed it was nice. remember to add fried foo chook.there are other choices of yong tou foo to add on such as lady fingers, tou foo, etc. but i din order them as i still have a pack of curry laksa to finish:P at the other corner of USJ 2 shop lots, there is another coffee shop called Le Kwang Sdn BHd. right here you can get this authentic penang curry mee. with fried too foo pok, cuttle fish, si ham and something like..... cube of jelly blood. not really sure what its called. did not order them though. i thought the soup quite good.

Indian Heritage USJ10 Taipan

I'll be back! that's what i can say. tonight's dinner is at Indian Heritage Taipan. I pass by this place everyday but did not make an effort to go in until couple a weeks ago a few gym peeps recommended me. And now, i am recommending to everyone.

Alex ordered tandoori chicken. Half a chicken for RM17. this is quality and quantity all together! kashmiri naan. this is darn darn darn good! i think it does not matter what fillings is in the naan , a plain naan would be just great. Rm7.50i ordered briyani with chicken. Rm19. as i am not a frequent visitor of Indian restaurant, i made a wrong order,so i recommend if you go in a group, try not to order 1 main course per person. as the portion is quite big, its better to share the orders. just order a plain rice RM5 or plain briyani rice RM7, and then go for chicken, mutton , sea food or vegetable. and don't forget the naan of course. Do Let then know if you want your food to be less spicy.overall the price is definitely worth the quality and portion you get. service was warm. i accidentally drop RM30 on the floor and they rush out to the car park to return it to me.

And if you are looking for indian buffet, this is also the place for you. Monday - Friday Lunch. Different menu daily. at only RM15.90++! adrian, when you come back we go k! And brian, john y , Lorraine, joanne,alfee,hahaah.......all the makan kaki:P

on a seperate occasion i went for the buffet. it was totally awesome and worth the price. i hope more people will go.
