compare to kim gary, they do have some more healthier seelction like herbal chicken and rice. i do enjoy their abalone with rice. but interms of wok hei wise i felt can be better.

1837 TWG TEA PAVILION

famous tea house mades its debut in pavilion malaysia. i could faint looking at the tea menu! service was good. deserts looks good but i am keeping myself away from it. tried their smoked salmon with english muffin that comes in a tea of your choice. was not bad but at close to rm40 is pretty costly. only 1 slice of smoked salmon with each muffin. if you are there only for the tea, the cheapest is rm18. and up tm rm377. i choose warrior tea today. was good. not that i know how to differenciate. anyway its worth a try.

Hui Lau Shan One Utama



famous hong kong chain mades is debut in one utama. also opening soon in time square and pavilion. was not bad. my suggestion is to order the smaller set version so you can taste everything.

coconut with bird nest and harsmar is refreshing and nourishing. must have

fresh mango mochi is delicious! and not sweet. must try!



Gantetsu Isetan one Utama

compare to all the major ramen store in klang valley, this one is probably my least favourite. i think it has a lot of msg if not too salty? i was really thirsty after consuming. their next door - menya musashi, is slightly cheaper and world class.

would love to try...but this did not fit my diet:)

Menya Musashi Isetan One Utama

BY far the best ramen i ever had in malaysia. yes i have tried the several famous ones as well. Originate from shinjuku, with master chef daisuke yamaguchi here to cook for us. restaurant name is derived from famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. i am in love with mushahi ramen in Kuro broth. dark coloured with garlic. its excellent. You may also try their tsukemen. good thing is for the same price, you can choose to order up to 2.5 times the ramen you want. talking about carb load! everythis here is good. on the down side, dont bother to go to next door gantetsu. absolutely the opposite.
