Yesterday lunch was at YEE FATT restaurant. SS15/4c. I really like their chicken rice. Do give their curry laksa a try.....really good!

ok now about this kerepek pisang, ever since that day Zarina gave shirlyn some raya munchies, which consist ofcourse the kerepek pisang, somehow i was craving for it. Zarina gave me munchies too! but because it is a different batch, so mine dun have kerepek pisang......so cannot tahan, some more sms Zarina and ask her where in Taipan can buy. She dosen know. so i went kerepek pisang hunting and found it! hehe.....nice too! no preservative,no artificial coloring, but ofcourse high in fat and cal:) once in awhile ya! and so i was muching while watching the movie Painted SKin. Story line so so only. But there's Donnie Yen.....ooh......how can you not love Donnie Yen!More raya munchies from members. this was given to alex. its the first time this member attempt to make cookies and cakes. not bad !

Today's lunch @ Sugimoto. their lunch box is worth a try, there are 2 types, RM14 and you get to choose 2 side dish. RM18 you can choose 3 side dish consist of seafood,poultry,veg,tempura,sashimi,hand rolls. Lunch box also comes with green tea,miso soup,chawamushi ,fruits,garlic rice or white rice.

Lunch box is available only from Mon-Fri 12pm - 2.15pm(last order)
dinner is a different menu. 6pm-10.15pm(last order).

Love it!

Canton-i - Forever Friends - PJ Old Town

was craving for canton-i for the pass few weeks. too bad pyramid and mid valley branch is not up and running yet. only in ONe Utama currently. you got to love their char siu and mee!Not gonna post all the food we eat here as i have posted some before.

later,we went around one u, looking for forever friends bear. Adrian wanted to give to SY as her bday gift. well, we had some fun with the bears:)

Taadaa! Adrian finally got this for SY,lucky her! this bear cost a bomb! about RM600 above! its a limited addition with only 6 in Malaysia. there is actually a bigger one which cost RM1200 and only 4 in Malaysia, the one Utama branch bought in one piece and sold it yesterday. but wait, this is not the only present! there is something else $$$ inside these bears......SY would just have to find out her self......maybe one day......she will find out.......

next, adrian and alex wanted coffee, so we were choosing between starbucks, pick n brew or delicious.......we end up here:

G'day iced coffee - the aussie way. not bad!

i asked for melting pot with marshmallow. its actually hot chocolate. nice , but too bad it was not hot at all, just merely warm. and the staff there were not really patience and friendly. service so so only. don know y business so good. i have tried their pasta before......ok lah......

and we bump into alfee and his family! well, i think alfee is here for fries, cos his son loves it.

One Utama Halloween deco and kiosk. Pick n Brew giving a pretty good deal here. and their coffee,need i say more? ichiban!

Needed something light for dinner. was choosing between paramount garden clay pot rice or old town pan mee. well here you go. used to have this atleast once every 2 weeks during my sec school and college days. still good! just opposite public bank.

then we head over to Old Town medan selera (opposite Old town bus stop)for Ice Kacang! this is one of mom's fav store. Old aunty made the ice kacang. it use to be RM1.20 then RM1.50, today, RM2.00 already:) oh this gerai makan kie kee serve good chicken rice and porridge as well!

so that's my deepavali! hows yours!

watched this today - a thriller about a group of med students who compete in a game of committing the perfect murder. dont think you can watch this in cinema......sure got sensor. basically is autopsy,sex and murder.

woke up at 8am this morning as me and alexc head to old taste kopitiam to meet up with adrian. Julian arrive a lil bit later. both of them are joining me for BC later.

adrian was craving for nasi lemak cos only nasi briyani for him in abu dhabi.after BC class, lunch at:

julian went and fetch lil ryan to join us. he was so cute, kept talking and talking, then suddenly he sang :"whats my name again?" we were like OMG! kan that is one of BP shoulder track?haha......juls have been listening too much LM songs infront of ryan.

adrian says there were only 1 korean restaurant in abu dhabi and darn $$$, so apart from the set lunch, he also ordered kim chi soup.

set lunch with beef. darn good. Rm14 nett.

with mackerel.....actually sardines......Daorae is definitely worth going for. again and again. service was just ichiban. there is another korean restaurant at the other side of the same building name hanwoori, have not beent here before........

Eng GUan is getting married soon. hence we organise a bachelor rpm ride for him and later surprise eng guan with gigi(his wife to be) appearing! so sweet and touching!

MPH books sales and an angel

i just remember tonight we are organizing an unofficial theme class for eng guan. its called the bachelor ride......cos he is getting married soon and will not be doing rpm so often for the next 2 months to prepare for his wedding and hornymoon .....i mean honeymoon. myself and alex got this for eng guan and gigi:) got the gift from Love affair at Sunway pyramid. at first i wanted to get something use full, like cups, chopsticks, but alex says eng guan likes deco....so ok lor.....i wanted to buy a pair of red towel instead but the sales gurl says we cannot buy towels for eng guan. only eng guan himself can buy ....so traditional meaning.....not sure what. alex says traditionally these towels are for the bride to use during their first night together to see if she is virgin or not:)
oh, then we pop by at section 13 for MPH Book sales! So many books! and cheap price!22-27 october 9 to 7pm. Jalan Bersatu Sec13/4 PJ.
and lats but not least, i got these from the company......now i can drink my hot tea using the flask and umbrella for me during the rainy dayz:)

ok now the angel part, late afternoon today i was at jaya33 for 45 mins and only did i realize that i lost my parking ticket and i have to rush to hartamas for my 5.45 class.....i only have 40 mins to do so! need to pay rm50 for lost ticket ok! so i drove my car down anyway and told the parking attendant i lost my ticket and i am rushing. i hand rm10 over to him and ask him to let me out:) thats bribe right?:P and he say no......but he let me out anyway!!!!!!i save RM50!and felt so embarrass.....bad me.....trying to bribe. so later in the evening as i return to jaya33, i bought 2 box of biscuit to thank him:) ( by the way the biscuit is healthy punya, just incase he dont want the biscuit, at least i can eat it myself:)

it was actually a 1998 production. i just happen to spot is at dvd shop and brought it........really good movie. is not about seeing angelina naked but more than that......its a true story worth watching.

FURY -the movie

FURY - now shown on cinema, however i have manage to watch it in DVD this morning. its about a autistic girl who goes after gang members to collect debts to help her sick mother. well, story line is so so but i must praise the gurl for her courage in doing all those stunts and moves! it was really good!

directed by the man behind Ong bak and Tom Yum Goong.

ok, where do i begin this is gonna be a long post! once a year ma!so these cakes below are bought on 9th oct 08. alex got them, so as the clock was about to strike 12 midnight, both of us had a mini birthday cake blowing ceremony with our sons and daughter.cakes are from secret recipe.

then i got an email from mom.she made me a birthday card using power point! so sweet of her! its a 10 page card, just show you guys some content as below:

so the next day(10 Oct), after my class in taipan, we settle ourselves down an d'italiane kitchen at jaya33. need i stress more how awesome the food here are? not gonna put the pasta pics here cos i have blog it before. but the cake below, Swiss choc cake, no sugar added! 100% sweetness from choc! FOC by d'italiane kitchen boss cum jaya33 TF member:) and once again, i highly recommend this place for food. try their pasta! i have not tasted any better pastas then theirs.....using fresh basil leaves too!
next destination was The Curve. went there to look for some Q4 launch items. then towards o'brien! a must have! toasted chicken tripple decker! and starbucks.

later we head over to ikea .....

stop for some salmon and Swedish meatball!

ok now about the dinner. it was suppose to be a surprise party for me organize by Gossip gurl lorraine:) but about an hour before dinner, i got a call from choong. telling me he cannot make it to my party. i am like?????? but actually is not all choong's fault, cos i already suspected 2 days ago when i accidentally saw an sms by julian to alex's hp saying she will be coming! but nobody is to blame! in fact thank you so much guys for making this happen!

so dinner was at Santini jaya one......ambiance not bad. food? pasta no good. it was raining cats and dogs outside and took me 1 hour from curve to get to jaya one! oh ya, along the day i got sms from xpeace also asking this asking that:P but i appreciate it ya dear:)

by the time i got there, simone had to make a move as she has a class at hartamas. so left only alex, myself and kress, later vincent came, then lorraine and yong, follow by alfee. last but not list came julian, joanne and brian hulk. simone wanted to take pic with me before she ciao to prove that she was here!now about the food. starter:Antipasto platter: salmon carpaccio,tomato salad and mozzarella,balsamic marinated mushrooms,beefmeat a polpette style,grilled veg and deep fried calamari.we ordered e types of pizza-duck,beef and seafood marinara......pizza okok onlybrian ordered cannelloni. black tube filled pasta with ricotta and spinach. was it good brian?alex ordered pappardelle duck:duck ragout and wild mushroom. alex says like dry pan mee only. ans salty.alfee ordered taglaitelle carbonara-home made tag with beef salsicce.alfee complain it was too salty. so they compliment him with a nice pineapple pudding.julian ordered this below. she say its salty too!kress got himself veal ossobuco with salfron risotto. not sure why the waitress says that it is beef when most of us thinks is mutton.lorraine ordered roasted cod fish. she says not bad.joanne ordered chicken. she complain it was to salty after the first bite. so they immediately replace her with a new one.ok untill this very moment only i have accepted the fact that it was my birthday! lights were deem, music stopped. forgot what the dj says. only remember happy birthday to:......SEXY Su-Yee"P cake was made by alexander. same cake i had last year except this year with extra flowers and 4 shots of espresso! thanks team! lorraine only told us about the shots after we ate it! no wonder we were so hyper!these are more gifts i got! thanks so much! below gifts are courtesy of:joanne,christine,nicholas,yong,choong,olivia,kress,jason,barney,simone,

ok now, this store (Road block corner) behind TF hartamas at HArtamas square belong to 1 of my fren carol. went and tapau roasted chicken rice and butter cream chicken rice yesterday. support support. cos hazrin also makan kat sana and say its not bad. Xpeace, if you wonder who is carol, is the gurl that can speak Cantonese and Mandarin u saw at hazrin house raya gathering.

so when i reach there, carol is still on her way, but her new chef is there standing by. and the chef ah, really new lo. tak tau buat mango salad. butter cream chicken rice pun, the chicken and the cream do not blend together, and the cream is white color like glue......ai yoyo.

anyways hope carol is there the next time u guys try and hope the chef will improve next time.

Alexis Bistro Wine Bar - The Gardens

Lunch at Alexis today. i have heard much about this place but din really struck me to go there until i read a recent blog about this restaurant last week. well, with some pictures of course.....that i cant resist.

i ordered Paradelle with creps.

Home made with white truffle oil and parmesan.

i choose this has i heard it is one of their famous dish. i think the fact that it is slightly pricey because its pasta is home made and with some mushroom.hrm......not bad la......but for the price i am paying, if i would have add extra RM2, i can get pasta with tiger prawn.....etc

Kaffir Lime in garlic and flavoured rice with ikan bakar berserai,beef rendang,kerabu pucuk paku and eggplant sambal.Good!

Tiramisu! with cognac.this one not bad. i like.

Pavlova.....there is blue berries,strawberries,sugar,whip cream and coconut.basically,its all whipped cream........pretty much you feel like doing a 10km run after eating it.
