I heard they were relocate from the previous Ampang outlet. Used to serve RM18. Used to serve RM18 per pax anti pasti buffet which comes with 1 main course and buffet side dishes. Now they have relocate to Level 6 Pavilion KL, Anti Pasti buffet will cost RM28++ without main dish. Judging that its located in pavilion, i felt RM28 is not expensive. And though without the main course, Roast Chicken alone in the buffet will ensure that you get your tummy filled. Though not much selection, i do enjoy some of their dishes such as Roast Chicken, Tiramisu is absolutely light and moist the way i like it, potato gelatin, cakes , pumpkin soup are so good i had 4 servings and mussels in onion. The rest of the dish was just ok for me. Some are either too salty or too sweet.

decided to give this place a try after being captured by its very unique design. Serve Japanese cuisine.

inside of the restaurant you can hear electronic bird chirping. Though its not real, but still it feels nice and zen.

So i ordered their famous home made tofu cake. Not bad at all. Less guilty for me as you have the tofu texture and taste rather than cheese.

This gyu don is on my must have list. Because I absolutely love the texture of the rice! its big round and fluffy. Paired with Soya sauce, it taste awesome. Next week I am going to try their green Tea Soya.

Accidentally spotted this refreshing exterior , cant help but to go in and have a look. Found out they have been operating for the pass 7 months. Bonjour Gardens serves weekend lunch buffet 12-3pm for only RM9.80 per pax. They also have ala carte such as pasta, cakes and coffee. Bonjour Garden Bakery - a green house like set up is lovely. Some of their pastry is similar to The Loaf. I tried Mushroom quinche and its was not bad. not as much mushroom as Loaf's. Another of my favourite from the loaf is cranberry cheese bun. and yes they have one similar. except they substitute cranberry with raisins and was not a good combo. i felt they could have better selection of raisin's brand. this one is way too sweet. the cheesy fillings inside was ok.

Using tea leaves from Cameron Highland, here is a bubble milk tea house located at bangsar telawi. I like that they serve local flavours like iced milo, teh tarik and Durian Milk Tea. I tried the Durian one and really at RM4.90 per cup, there is not much to ask for.its really a decent cup of drink. not overly sweet. Barista is friendly and takes time to explain to you different types of drinks. I added Yogurt Pearl, its was good! Similar to Ochado Pop Eggs, except this one is better. it pops out yogurt flavour.

Came here without planning, i guess good things comes unexpectedly. we ordered famous fois gras burger and Japanese Yodel BUrger. I must say i love their juicy patty, the burger bun is amazingly moist and nice. All is good. a must try on their burger. Salted Caramel cake gave me goosebumps. chocolate is not sweet, cake is solidly good and the amount of salt, it just nice. A must have as well.

the next day, yes the very next day, i went back to try their PIcollo Latte. ANd it was all worthid. just the way i love it. its bitter yet its sweet at the same time. i love it. in my MUST HAVE list.

BUrmese thai chicken salad was a clean and healthy meal. apart from its over acidic caramelize garlic.

The Big Breakfast. I like the Bread and as usual, the hash brown!

Beef BUrger!!!! Bun is soft, Patty is moist, fries is solid and not oily. cant ask for more for RM20. but if you are willing to pay an extra Rm20, just minutes away, head to "The Daily Grind" for their BUrger. is Yums.

Smoked Salmon with Omelette. A healthy choice.

Pumpkin and corn fritters with Bacon. I can do without the bacon. I like the slightly burn and crispy skin. I also enjoy as its not thick and its filled with loads of corns. the texture reminds me of a Chinese fried food , the one with a prawn in the middle.

Cafe Bicerin is awesome. espresso, chocolate and freshly made cream. .you can either stir it to drink it hot, or leave it as it is, and you have a cold on top, hot at the bottom . just like vanilla ice cream paired with hot brownie. (Must Have)

GInger Crush - love the texture of the biscuit. Ginger melts in your mouth. I scrap the ginger off after a few bites as its too sweet for me.

you wont want to muss raisin load. filled with raisin, not sweet at all and its fluffy. (Must have)

Sunny sunday and today's mission was to try out the yums in Isetan Food Market.

First up was Fugetsu Okonomiyaki. Rm18 comes in either beef, chicken, prawn or cheese and corn. I picked Beef. it was one of the best i ever had. tho the sauce and mayo was a lil sweet for my liking, everything else was juicy . I love it. ( on my must have list)

Next is Uohei. The mega size rm10 my favourite Scallop. ( this will be in my must have list) I ate 3stick!

Then it was Tamaruya with skewers, choose from 4 different sauce.

Chicken Katsu from Aoi Tei. Was just ok for me.

You can also head towards the non halal butcher for more meat. Both are good

then there was another counter selling the above skewers. it was horrible. the beef were too hard to chew. absolutely a turn down

Lunch i head towards Senya, read from other blog , Senya is own by a famous chef which has worked in a Restaurant in Sydney. I have only tried their chicken teriyaki Don, was ok, chicken is tender. MIso soup is nice. i wanted to try the gyu don but it was not available. that was a big turn down for me.

head over to the desert section and you get loads of sugar!

tried their best seller - tiramisu. nothing to complain about, just its a typical tiramisu i have tasted in many other desert shop

creme brulee was was nicely presented but was really too sweet for me

i like the packaging!

At rm5.90 Mont Blanc was actually good. i like it because its not sweet.

and their best seller 5 layer cake, was too dry for me

i have not try the above 2 shops desert. overloaded with sugars already.

then we head over to Cafe Gino for hot and iced mocha.it turn out well. coffee was to a bitter side, which is how i like it.

this was just another service i like about Isetan:)

Curry Puff anyone? Comes in 3 flavour. Curry chicken, sardin or non spicy chicken. I tried the curry chicken ofcourse. What i like about it , is its not as oily as other Curry puffs and if you are a fan of the crispy outer layer of the puff, this one is for you. So much that you feel more of the crispy texture than the potato and chicken curry itself.

Nasi lemak Pandan - rice was filled with Pandan Fragrant and its come with or without curry chicken. Pretty ok dish.

It took me quite awhile after an opening of their first outlet to actually try their food. To me these Chinese delicacy should be enjoy in a typical Chinese shop. But i was wrong! What they offer here is better than most Chinese shop! and the best thing is our Malay friends will get to enjoy this delicacy has its now halal. My favourite is their butterfly bun.
( in my must have list) its just not oily. sweet and crispy. Its my first time trying their tou fu fa today and it's nice! Almost all major shopping mall has I Love Yoo thats awesome for me:)

I ordered a Chee Cheong fun to go with it and it was good. Really decent . Nothing to complain about.

As for the yong tou fu, its decent and nice. overall worth a try.

Putien - a SIngapore franchise has made is debut at one utama. we were there at their 3rd day of opening. all staff are welcoming. only downside is some of their signature dish is finish on the afternoon session and they do not have enough time to re prepare for the evening session. The restaurant is open10am- 10pm. But when we reach at 5.15pm, they claim that side dish can be prepare but they will only prepare the mains at 5.45pm. (must have for me is their spinach with century and salty egg and lor mee)

their famous spicy mom chilli without MSG and freshly made. I love it. First you get a spicy sensation in your mouth then its sour and spicy.

sweet and sour pork with lychee above was ok for me. I felt if can be more crispy. Lychee does blend well with the pork. below potato ball is ok. the filling was generous. it is not the crispy type.

abalone is fresh

FOC Heng Hwa bee hon inconjunction of their opening. Not bad. the selling point for me that its simple.like home cook. below soup with prawn, i love the chewy texture of the prawn. soup for me is too winery.

Below 2 dishes is a must have . Spinach with century and salted egg yolk. This one is delicious! i love the salted egg yolk broth. Lor Mee taste simple and fresh. noodles is chewy. grandpa and grandma would love it too!

a friend recomend me this must try chips coated with choc. though royce has been around in malaysia klcc for quite some time, i have never thought of buying it, well untill now. Price at RM45 per box, its sinfully nice . I would not go over the top for this. I still prefer chips and chocolate on its own. but other than that, chips are made perfectyl without feeling too salty. Chocolate are coated evenly. Each bite is delicious. I am looking forward to try their NAMA chocolate where its said to be melt in your mouth. So far i do enjoy GODIVA Chocolate.other display chocolate

A Japan product - Royce NAMA chocolate. Bitter with Hennessy . Storage temperature 10c and below. Shelf life 1 month. Moisture level 17-18%. One that melts is your mouth . Fresh cream made from Hokkaido milk and liquor is 1/4 of the total ingredient . Comes with a cooling back and dry ice pack .

I absolutely love the texture of the noodle. its so chewy. Curry is just nice and not too spicy and duck texture is really smooth. Braised Beef Brisket Noodles. I did not eat this one but tried the soup. was not bad . perhaps a little salty for my liking. I do enjoy the carrots.Dan Dan Mien - handmade noodle tossed in peanut buttery spicy szechuan sauce with marinated chicken. Though this dish is highly recomended in othe blogs, it was just bland for me. Noodle texture was too wet for my liking. The spices and aroma was not outstanding.Thob Tim Korb. was there the very first day they are on operation. they have 2 different menu. Breakfast and all day. Breakfast starts from 8am to 12pm . its pretty worthid. You get coffee or tea, 2 eggs, toast with kaya and butter and a plate of noodle/ porridge or american breakfast for Rm7.90-Rm8.90. as for Lunch and all day, its about RM10 per main course and less than rm10 for sides. There is also ala cart more expensive dishes such as whole fish, poultry...etc for family dinner. Serivce is friendly but slow.bread and butter was okamerican breakfast is typical. not much to commentmee hon siam is nice. i like the portion is small . so I dont over load in simple carbstom yam mee hon has a nice presentation. taste was not badi did enjoy the beed noodle. beef was good. and especially like the sour chilli sauce that comes with itotak-otak is nice. atleast it does not taste dry or fake.chicken rendang , i like the spices but not the texture of the chicken. its hard.cendol is not bad either.curry puff was ok. can tell it came out from freezer has the egg texture can tell . i do enjoy K3K giant curry puff more.teh tarik was not bad.good. i like their normal white coffee more than kopi kacibut if kacip fatimah. but if you prefer bitter coffee then kacip fatima is for you.

another singapore restaurant has made its debut in one utama. i realy enjoy the bamboo setup of this place. introducing their famous specialty SAm Sui Ginger Chicken. It is simple and tender. Ginger is very good too.now comes the soup of the day, sharkfin with old cucumber. thumbs up.

this below is a must have for me- their homemade tofu. silkly , soft,melts in your mouth. delicious

handchop pork with salted fish is ok for me
ah por fan shu leaves is very good tooah gong ginger fried rice is fragrant and nice:)

this is my 2nd visit to Din tai Fung. First one was few years back when Mid Valley Branch just opened. the reason i stop visiting after that as the food fail to wow me. it took me few years to actally gave them a 2nd try. and this time, it was much better. i absolutely love the century egg(must have) imported from Taiwan. It is delicious! and the price is very reasonable. next is special homemade mix veg. very good. really opens up the appetite. the below fried shrimp and mango was just ok for mebelow is XIao Long Bao with Truffle. RM7 per piece. yes is slight expensive, i only had one. but the truffle taste is awesome.pork and prawn dumpling is not badclassic xiao long bao. I enjoy the very thin skin textureshrimp and pork siew mai was just ok. skin is slightly thickerfried rice is simple and fresh
cha jiang noodle - the pork is too salty for me. however i really enjoy the texture of the Ra men. it is better than Dragon -i's ramen
sweet and sour la men was good. I also enjoy Dragon -I 's versiongarlic oil ramen is good too. like indomeebeef ramen, i did not eat this but i tried the soup. was good.lastly is desert- xiao long bao with red bean. oh so good:)

read some good review about this place hence finally giving it a try. And i Love it. In my must have list will be their Tagliatelle - because the pasta is freshly made on the spot by chef , its bouncy and chewy. You never want to go back to packet pasta again after tasting this version. the crew is friendly. although there are 2 female that is new and do not understand english very well, but you cannot get angry with them as they just keep on smiling and ask if you need anything. they have mon-fri 12-3pm 3 course set lunch which cost RM24.90. i say is a good deal. I wanted to try their tagliatelle RM32.90 hence i op for their all day set menu at RM39.90 and my, it was a fabulous deal. view below for the food i had for Rm39.90++

first up complimentary - bread stick with salsa sauce. perfect. the bread is bake to perfection. puffy and easy to bite. salsa sauce is just nice.
then came the starter - signature caesar salad. looks simple, yet taste delicous. with bacon and chunk of chicken plus the poached egg is done perfectly.next is the highlight - taglietelle (freshly made pasta with salmon tossed in vodka, citrus zest and mascarpone cream sauce) . again, what made this dish so special is the texture of their pasta.lastly, creme catalana for dessert. rich rich rich and yummy.on a second occasion i went back to have this starter: seared scallops served iwth cauliflower puree,tapenade and chrispy bacon chips. and finally i get the change to taste this chilli and green peas stuffed chicken breast on garlic mashed potato and srping onion pesto with sauteed wild mushroom and onions. the chicken breast is tender, and i love the mushroom and potato. they compliemnt the dish so well. the onions too. mush have!

Overall i felt DIm Sum at Pan ki is ok. I do like the Gai wo Bao here(First Pic) though the original for this Dim Sum is said to be Clan Dim Sum 5 min away. the bun texture is soft. Char Siew bao is not bad i like that they put a little veggie stip inside. Carrot cake is a must try as well. and sesame ball.

started from selling cakes online to having their own retail. i bought their famous from left to right : Durian Cheese cake , Lychee Cheese Cake and Cempedak cheese cake. i Give 10/10 for fragrant and creativity. But its all just too sweet for me. So go ahead if you have a sweet tooth. i tried their curry puff ( which fillings is nice but pastry is oily) and Layer cake ( too sweet) . i do however like their boxing.

I will be back! and spreading this lovely place to more friends:) Set up of the place is cozy , free and easy. Crew is friendly. And food .....BIg YUms. I read from other blog that this is an AUssie inspired cafe which serve award winning Chantico coffee and chef that was train in aussie. In my Must Have list - would be their Mocha , Egg Benedict and Classic Almond Toast.we started with Onion Soup as starter. i also ordered classic french toast with almond, this is the best french toast i ever had. lovely presentation, toast is moist and almond is crispy. Yums! absolutely a must have.on the 2nd visit, we ordered not 1 but 2 classic french toast:P this time it was also serve with Banana. I really like this combo.the 2nd french toast we ordered came with Mango. nice as well but i Still prefer the banana version.another winner is Egg Benedict with - poached egg with hollandaise, asparagus, mushroom and streaky bacon. what a dish to kick start the day! Absolutely amazing.next is Bake eggs. interesting filling dish. with sausages inside. below is a beef sandwhich, thumbs up for the fries. Ice Mocha Chocalata yaya was awesome! Very rich choco taste and presentation is lovelyhere is where you get to taste Chantico. when my friend had his first sip of this mocha, he immediately smile. he says it reminds him if australia. this place serves french fine dining pricing at about rm30-rm50 per dish . it is also an open kitchen concept and a culinary school. i have not tasted their dished thus far but base on other bloggers this place as quite good review. I was told Nathalie Gourmet has the best Macaroons in town mainly because it was not as sweet as the other operator. pricing at rm4.40 per piece, Macaroons are place rigth at the entrace and immediately you got attracted by colorful Macaroons . I have tried praline, chocomel, nouget, lemon, passion fruit, ginger, matcha. My vote goes to Chocomel and matcha. The rest are still too sweet for my liking.

finally got a chance to try this after 2 visit to their competitor few shops away call jojo kitchen. overall i still prefer jo jo kitchen dry peel noodlee with fried pork. for face to face, i give credit to their sarawak ko lo mee. it was very good. turns me off when their peel noodle only applies to soup base and not dry. face to face famous dry chilli pan mee was just ok for me. its the chilli that does the work. unlike jojo little kitchen where u can eat the pan mee without the chilli and still taste good. and better anchovies. their noodle is so so. i do like face to face minced pork pan mee.

A new place with very nice ambiance ,good food and really affordable on my to be back for more list. Located at Ritze perdana 2 (damansara perdana) Wan's corner, introducing Allo paris. Interior is spacey , cozy and sleek With a few different type of Eiffel Tower poster in and around the restaurant and the lighting makes it even more sophisticated.

and so food came and first was french onion soup. the soup is simple, is tasty and the cheese and bread really makes a huge different. it adds on alot of aroma to the soup . I love that cheesy taste with a simple soup. for RM6.90next up i think is one of my favourite - seaweed cream pasta. the thing about creamy sauce is it can get abit too heavy. but not this one. this is absolutely just nice. spot on. Rm12.90then came tuna loin aka Ahikatsu. A very healthy dish at RM15.90 RM24.90 lamb loin aka Green Eggs N Lamb. Lamb is tender and who would have thought it goes so well with mashed Yam.
RM12.90 steak sand which. I love the very crunchy toasted bread. man the bread is juicy:)very nice cappuccino with very cute coffee art at RM5.90and with this few;) allo paris is located beside a luxury car show room hence its a pluswith also RM7.90 milkshake its absolutely lovely. i always love caramel and this blend is nice. i would probably prefer a whipped cream that is not over power with coconut smell. its a worth to visit again restaurant regardless if you are there to chill, to chit chat, for business, family, it all fits in.

in a long run, my vote goes to planet pop corn as its cheaper and not as sweet as garrett. no doubt garett caramel with macadamia its nice but it gets too sweet after awhile. however if just caramel alone without the nuts, it actually taste much better. as in not too sweet. My fav planet pop corn will have to be Cheese and Sea weed. For garrett,will be caramel. Their cheese and corn is too salty for me.

i have always wanted to try lan je but branches are too far away, and waalaa! they open a branch in usj1 woohoo! i love the fish. it comes with non spicy, mild spicy or extra spicy. all the below dishes are nice too. egg with onion is a simple dish but it makes you want for more. sweet and sour chicken good thing about their is its pack with meat. the only downside is probably the dish took 25min to arrive despite only 2 tables.

Kung po chicken. I took this picture after we ate almost 1/4 of the dish lol. so it actually looks much better than this. unlike traditional kung po which is more to a spicyi side, this one taste sweet. Which was good for me as well. nice rendition.

so i head down to the latest grocer store in town in Publika. there is a planB in there which serve coffee and a Ben's general food store for some affordable food like below. half chicken and 2 side salad for only rm23.90 and its more than enough for 2 pax. i love their mussels. but the corn and crab meat is not as nice as the first time i tried in their other branch in bangsar Village II. mushroom lasagna and moroccan lamb pie was ok. i still vote for wagyu beef. generally i felt that salad in BIG bens is not as nice as BSC Bens. i also tried rocky road milk shake which was sinful. all their dining place has a few special milk shakes that no other branches has. deng. so far my vote still goes to Ben's Pavilion peanut butter jelly milk shake. more over the ben independent grocer. love the savoury selection there. some imported health food that i cannot get at other grocer. will definitely be back. there there is publika food court call eat food village. below you can see alot of famous food in malaysia all gather in 1 place. - ampang chicken rice, bukit mertajam yam rice, sentul hokkien mee to name a few. enjoy!

ok so i read from other blog that this cake is made daily and the cream inside was made from fresh milk. you need to call a day earlier atleast to order. it cost rm14.80 per box and comes in either original or strawberry flavour. i just tried ori and review on straberry was not as good. first bite - it was sweet and soft. was ok for me. but then yuo started wanting more, and the more you eat it, the tastier is gets! man! magic! haha. well, i am on a diet so this comes once in a blue moon. as for the mix nut tart below , absolutely worth the price and pack with good fats. plenty of almond and macademia to name a few. still, dont over eat it. nuts are high in calories. from left to right on the below picture is salted cheese stick. (not to my liking), then its my all time favourite french cheese! its one of the best. then is an ok crossoint for me. and egg tart is soft but too sweet for my liking.

Love the set up and ambiance. a place that i will go back and back and back again. Their roast beef sand which is a must have. I tried it with all 3 types of toasted rye, white and multi grain bread. i prefer multi gran. as Rye was not crispy after toasted and white is simple carbs for me.and we were lucky to try their special for the day- beef with portobello mushroom. absolutely worth the price and delicious. Scone is made is heaven. paired with jam and cream its so delicious. almond xsant is very very good! so is poppy seed with mix berry cake. lamb burger was quality and chicken cop, i like their mashed potato that comes with it. Hedgehog was i think a kiddie food. little boys would love it.I also have the chance to try the tiramisu with alcohol. was just ok for me and green pea soup with lamb is not bad . its filling.the mocha below was normal. and at rm11, i rather spend my money on food. i also love cakes from Haute . the non creamy type. poppy seed cake and flourless orange with basil cake is awesome.for creamy cake goes to bangsar village 2 mamarlade - banana toffee cake. or banotoffe. below is coffee toffe cake. this cake is serve hot like brownie. actually all pastry's are nice when its hot. so dont op for take away if you can. i would prefer not to have the icing on top. too sweet for my liking.banana cake is really moist fluffy and fresh. peanut butter chocolate cake below was not badbeef pie (bourguignon) is only rm6.50 with chrispy thin crust and tender juicy beef

This surely is all in one goodness. Pecan coffee chocolate cheese cake! what more can you ask for? not sweet, all flavour is just nice.if you see it...(must have!)

on the other hand, smoked chicken sandwhich with cheese is the least of my favourite. not because its not nice. just i prefer non process chicken. and i had too much cheese that day.

plan B, Ben's Pavilion. and now Ben's general food store. i love them all! i love everything except their air conditioning and ventilatino in bens general and bens pavilion. each of their outlet is unique and has its sellign point. ben's general claim to have the best pizza. i tried Il Carnivore and absolutely love it. best thing is pricing in all their outlet is very reasonable . try nutella at ben general and peanut butter and jam milkshake at ben pavilion. yummy!

HEard of PLan B before? Similarly under the company call thebigroupco is Ben's. I love everthing about this place except - for the air conditioning. Its ventilation needs to be fixed. Varuety of food from western, local delight, vegan, deserts. and the best thing is its cheap! most food were price rnage from rm20-25. I absolutely love the peanut butter and jam smoothies there! wahyu beef pie is yummy. soft shell crab pasta is sinfully nice. Velvet cake - abit too sweet for my liking but if you scrap away the creamy part of top, the cake actually is really moist and fresh. macademia cheese cake ice cream with caramel is sinfully nice combo. pad thai noodle is great too. ....nom nom.....till next time. oh yea, you can even play card games or check out some recipe sugegstion while waiting for food to be served:) (Must have list- Wagyu Beef pie, Peanut Butter & jam Smoothies, Macademia cheese cake ice cream)

Finally after 2 time of RSVP , i got a place for 2 at Huck's cafe. was eager to go there especially getting many good review. open from 7.30-11.30pm tuesday - sunday only. do check out their FB page - Huck's cafe. it shows you how to RSVP and order your main dishes in advance.

Place is easy to find. pass bangsar LRT on your left, see 7-11, then turn left. reach T junction, turn right, and you will see jalan abdullah on your left not long after.

we arrived early. greeted at the front door, as i walk in, a cool breeze of air con blown towards me. So cold that i was having hypothermia while waiting for food to be serve:P

we sat on a Balinese style huge square table. seating on the floor. i absolutely love it has its more easy going and chill.

so we were greeted with mint in basil seed. the drink was really refreshing. even until 4 hrs later. the basil seed is chewy and full of texture. i wanted to try their french onion soup but it was not available that day. hence we choose pumpkin and mushrooms soup. a must try is their lemon roast chicken. the jaime oliver style. it was delicious. the side dish - the carrots, potatoes, celery. omg those are awesome. we also have guiness beef pie. not i was never a pie fan. but after that pie pastry by huck, omg! i felt in love with pie!!! that pie was tasty, crunchy....everything. of course paired with gusiness beef. we also have sarawak acar. it was a nice combo with the fish cracker. half way trough we were serve with pegaga juice. it was the most refreshing pegaga juice ever. oh desert, omg. creme brule was good. but i absolutely love the chocolate mud pie ice cream. its like having 1 bite of sneakers and 1 bite of chocolate ice cream top with oreo and nuts. the entire ambinece is just so peaceful that you dont wan to leave! its a great experience. and mr. huck seng is just charming:) do try out this place u guys. omg! famous hokkaido ramen chain is here. at first look you feel that rm35 for a set is $. but not after you tasted it. you want more! 3 types of ramen soup base, so far i tried shio and the spicy one. both are equally good. ramen is awesome. char siew in rice is great. a must have is their premium pork cheek at rm15 ala carte. else you can ask for ramen with premium pork cheek. Normal ramen does not come with that. ramen comes in S M L size. each size is rm3 difference. S size you have 1 slice of pork, M 2 slice, L 3 slice. other than that, the portion of the noodle are the same. (in my must have list is SHio Ramen and pork Cheek)
