Lady with a big heart

it all started yesterday night, after we rescued a puppy from a drain. All her other siblings died beside her, maybe because of hunger or malnutrition. knowing that's not a safe place for the puppy, i immediately call wani (http://www.malaysiandogsdeservebetter.blogspot.com)for/ help. Wani asked us to keep the puppy for 1 night and the next day she will arrange a friend to come pick up the puppy. by the way, we named her patch:) Patch body was full of fleas and ticks, she was so dirty and skin were infected. Alex took some time to bath her. All my other 3 cats were exited to see a friend of a different species. So this evening, after work, i meet up with Wani friend - christine from USJ2. We meet at USJ2 petronas station to hand over patch to her. although it was less than 24 hours with patch, we have gotten emo over her. Patch was a good gurl. i got patch a fleas neem shampoo and puppy food too. Wani will pick patch up from christine tomorrow and hope to get a suitable adopter soon.

And so as we meet up with christine, we chatted a bit, she told us she has 50 cats and couple of dogs at home. we need to see if for our self. and since she lives near by, we followed her home. Christine is really a lady with a big heart. 50 stray cats! imagine cleaning up their poo. that's 50 poo or more a day! these cats live in her dining room, kitchen and bed room! she named everyone of them, lets see if i can remember- Ashlo,spice,NO.1,patch,junior.......i cant remember them all. her dogs name was - todd, dizzy(cos she is kinda blur) etc..... as i walked around christine house to check out her cats, i found out christine was also a SGI members! saw the butsudan.

christine was also telling us how she found these cats, some from the highway, some on a lorry, and maya the dog who was beaten to cripple by DBKL! with only 3 legs now, one of maya leg is useless and needs to be amputated soon. so guys, if you know any good Samaritans that is willing to adopt cats and dogs, please let me know. If you wish to donate cat or dog food(mind you these cat eats IAMS), litter sand, please contact me as well.

this afternoon before meeting up with christine, we send our cat - PURU to the vet. puru was getting skinner by day and with no appetite. Doctor extract some blood out from 3 of his legs and result will be out by this saturday to see if puru as liver problem. if he does, he needs to be on a special liver diet.

This cat on the picture below - Grey grey we name her. She was a stray cat in our neighbour hood that we use to feed and has been MIA for 1 week now. and we were surprise to see her in the vet clinic today! someone took her there and she has been put up for adoption. a malay lady is willing to adopt her. we told the vet if this malay lady did not come pick her up, we will take her. Dont worry, alex is not strangling her. Although the below pic looks kinda brutal:P
