Latest Update on Cancer

I got this very useful information from Shirlyn. this is why i am having more vegetable now. i will suggest you guys to try Melilea.

go to www.melilea.com/product.php ( check out Greenfield Organic)this is what i am drinking for a year now. and its a good form of breakfast. it rellay cleanse my system.i have seen it with my own eyes.

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHN HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY . Cancer Update from John Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply. CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water- best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup .

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN HOPKINS HOSPITAL , U. S. - PLEASE READ
1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.

He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as CorningWare, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

My new handphone-Nokia 5610 music express

so yeah...i brought a new handphone 2 weeks ago. because my previous phone has been with me for 2 years and its falling apart. most importantly, my previous phone does not have enough memory to store phone numbers...so everytime instructors sms me, i go like......who is this? sorry cos my hp not enuf memory!

and.....the phone can only store 4 picture! which is hard for me to take pictures for blogging. and it does not have a external drive. meaning, after i took a picture, i need to send it to my email...and this cost.
so this new phone i got, has enuf memory for numbers and equip with a 3.2 mega pixel camera. for me to take more pics to blog:)

Monday, January 21, 2008

Cook with me:)

STep 1 - soak fresh veg in water for 15 minutes to wash off chemicles.
Step 2 - Boil water
STep 3 - pour boil water to veg and leave it for 5-10 seconds
Step 4 - after that pour boiling water away, and put in some fried onion on veg.
Step 5 - add oyster sos
Taa daa!!!and......its as easy as 1,2,3,4,5!
ok...is no big deal, but it is the first time i did it all by myself. (gosh...i can hear alex L shaking his head, Barney saying Susu...susu.....and JAson saying gurl.....gurl......)

so yeah, here i show you how to make a simple and healthy veg for dinner!Alex thought me how to do it.

i am not a good cook. All this while, mom has been doing the cooking. now as mom is in Florida, Alex is the one that does the cooking. and he is a good cook too. as for myself.....i am incharge of washing the dishes.

one of my 2008 resolution is to eat more veg and less meat. so now, breaksfast i normally have complete nutrition drink then fruit, lunch and dinner it depends. if i ate meat during lunch, then i will have only veg during dinner. or vice versa.

every monday i will also eat cherries. not much. just a handful. as cherries is $$$$$. but cheeries has great benefits includes:

raise the antioxidant capacity of the blood, cancer prevention, reduce cholestrol level, lower blood sugar and insulin level, prevent memory lost, reduce inflammation and arthritis, regulates circadion rhythms and natural sleep paterns.....etc.
so have some today!

My early Valentine gift for Alex-and a story behind

when i first lay eyes on this jersey a couple of years ago, i felt inlove with it. till date, this is still my favourite jersey. and to alex, it has a very motivational story behind.between this jersey and the man himself - Lance Amstrong.

Lance's story
At age 25, Lance Armstrong was one of the world's best cyclists. He proved it by winning the World Championships, the Tour Du Pont and multiple Tour de France stages. Lance Armstrong seemed invincible and his future was bright.
Then they told him he had cancer.
Next to the challenge he now faced, bike racing seemed insignificant. The diagnosis was testicular cancer, the most common cancer in men aged 15-35. If detected early, its cure rate is a promising 90 percent. Like most young, healthy men, Lance ignored the warning signs, and he never imagined the seriousness of his condition. Going untreated, the cancer had spread to Lance's abdomen, lungs and brain. His chances dimmed.
Then a combination of physical conditioning, a strong support system and competitive spirit took over. He declared himself not a cancer victim but a cancer survivor. He took an active role in educating himself about his disease and the treatment. Armed with knowledge and confidence in medicine, he underwent aggressive treatment and beat the disease.
During his treatment, before his recovery, before he even knew his own fate, he created the Lance Armstrong Foundation. This marked the beginning of Lance's life as an advocate for people living with cancer and a world representative for the cancer community.

In 1999, after recovered from his life-taking cancer, Lance Armstrong's regained awe-spring victories in the 1999-2005 Tours de France are , but the battle against cancer has just begun-not just for him, but for all cancer survivors and people just like him who think cancer could not affect them. He plans to lead this fight, and he hopes that you join him. This is a life he owes to cancer. This is his choice to live strong.

so dont be surprised when you always see him with a yellow bandana around him arm, even Alex's new jersey have a sewed in yellow bandana on the left arm. It means fight against cancer.

My early Valentine gift from Alex-Nike Bag

BODYPUMP 65

BODYPUMP® 65 is all about challenging strength endurance.

Right from the word go Track 2, Just Like Paradise, is BIG. It has a driving beat that automatically hooks the class into BIG work mode. The hard work starts with a unique training effect in the Squats Track when the legs are hit by a reverse sequence of work.

Don’t expect any breaks in the Chest Track but do look forward to lots of Bottom Halves!
The slower-tempo choreography keeps the muscles engaged and moving under load with no time to rest.

And there are no breaks in the Biceps Track either, so the intensity is maintained from start to finish.

The Forward & Backward-Stepping Lunge is back after making its debut in BODYPUMP® 64, targeting the legs, glutes and hamstrings.

The Seated Overhead Extension is also back in the Triceps Track, accompanied by funky tunes from Groove Armada.

DJ Aligator and the Mac Raise both make a welcome return in the super intense Shoulders Track which is all about strong, controlled work. There’s loads of energizing music to help with the workout.

Kanye West’s Stronger provides the inspiration needed to endure the new Moving Hover and Side Plank in the Abdominals Track.

Airbourne’s Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast is massive and Breakaway will fill the room with intense energy.

BODYCOMBAT 35

Never surrender, never give up and NEVER stop moving in BODYCOMBAT® 35!

The theme for this release is Kick-boxing. You’ll build strength, kick speed and stamina in your legs, change the shape of your butt and burn heaps of calories. The choreography is intense and this release targets beginners so there is a low complexity — but beware, this is a non-stop release!

Watch out for Track 2, Scooter’s The United Vibe. It’s the longest ever BODYCOMBAT® track combining a strong static Block and Karate Punch with a Travel Roundhouse Knee Sequence which gives participants the feel of two very different Martial Arts disciplines— Karate and Kick-boxing. There are more than 100 kicks in

Track 4 which includes the Roundhouse challenge. This challenges and improves balance and leg strength.

Track 7 is HUGE and features new innovation the Clinch — a manipulative move used commonly in Thai fighting to gain control over your opponent. The Foo Fighters’ top-selling single, The Pretender, is the perfect song for this Muay Thai Track. It has all the elements a great fighting style should have — speed, aggression and power. Your class will love it! The music is electric and BODYCOMBAT® 35 features SIX Top 40 hits. Fight to a hit from the movie ‘Hairspray’, rock out to a popular hit from The Hives and be motivated by Good Charlotte.
